Recording of Teaching and Learning Sessions

My Course > LEARNING AND TEACHING INNOVATION CENTRE > Guidance, Resources and Toolkits > Recording of Teaching and Learning Sessions

Recordings of taught sessions help students to review, revisit and revise important topics or complex ideas.

Feedback from students is very positive and research shows that recordings can enhance learning and improve performance.

The Guidance for Students includes many tips on how to make the most of the recordings provided.

The software platform used for classroom based and manual recording is Panopto. However, there is also guidance below for other tools, and for making recordings more accessible in the GLJ (captions etc).

If you have any comments or questions please email RecordingSupport@Herts.ac.uk. You might also like to view  Guidance videos produced by LTIC and the LCS web site, which includes the list of rooms where Panopto is currently installed and a list of LCS training sessions.
