Professor Mark Russell recently led a JISC funded project which supported two academic schools (Business and Life Sciences) in the consideration, and re-engineering, of some of their assessments. Details of the ESCAPE project (Effecting Sustainable Change in Assessment Practice and Experience) plus resources developed through the project are accessible via the JISC Design Studio website.

New StudyNet Assignment system
In November 2010 a new assignment system was launched in StudyNet. Developed by the StudyNet team in conjunction with academic staff it is designed to help tutors deliver rich feedback to their students quickly using tick-box feedback schemes developed in conjunction with the LTI. Also, a new offline marking facility allows staff to download their students' assignments and mark them without an internet connection.
